When there are gaps in the teeth of a child, the teeth existing are likely to change position and block the space by which permanent teeth would have sprouted. This can lead to the misalignment of the upper and lower sets of the teeth.
Night Guard
Patients who are suffering from bruxism or teeth grinding can wear night guards to protect their teeth while they sleep. Excessive grinding can lead to jaw trauma and teeth can begin to wear off. The nightguard is crucial if the patient does not want to encounter the horrible complications associated with excessive teeth grinding.
